MOORPARK come meet Butch Ware, the 2024 Green Party Vice Presidential Candidate and current candidate for Governor of California!! He will be visiting Moorpark College on November 17th from 1-3pm on the quad near the Student Center.

This is a great opportunity for students and community members to hear directly from the candidate, ask questions about his campaign, and discuss the issues shaping California’s future.

Butch Ware’s campaign focuses on major policy areas including:

✅ Healthcare: A Human Right – Proposes making healthcare accessible to all Californians through new tax structures, a healthcare emergency declaration, and implementation of CalCare by executive order.

✅ Housing First: Advocates for universal security, healthcare, social housing, and a universal basic income to help address homelessness and ensure every Californian has a place to live.

✅ Divestment Now: Calls for divestment from entities involved in war crimes and human rights violations, redirecting funds toward community and social programs while opposing anti-BDS laws.
