For Episode 71 of The HipHopHumboldt Podcast, Dr. Butch Ware talked about his VP run, his current campaign policies from homelessness to ICE, local issues such as Indigenous sovereignty and free speech on campus, and we even got into a conversation about Hip Hop! Some people might not know he is one half of a group called Slum Prophecy. The music is on point and well worth a listen! We also talked about the diss tracks he has put out on this campaign trail, and the roots and power of Hip Hop as an art form. Dr. Ware was dropping gems and knowledge throughout the podcast episode. Imagine a world where Dr Ware is the governor of California and then went on to be the President of the United States. We might actually be able to turn this thing around.
